Refrigeration Engineer - Maintenance

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Engineer to join our team as a Maintenance Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of client refrigeration equipment through regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs. You will work collaboratively with a team of engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and solve problems in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

Conduct regular inspections of refrigeration equipment, identify any issues, and implement appropriate maintenance and repairs.
Use your expertise to locate and repair refrigerant leaks.
Work with a team to ensure that all equipment is running efficiently and effectively.
Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with refrigeration systems, and work collaboratively with other engineers and technicians to develop and implement solutions.
Catch and fix the mistakes of teammates, ensuring that all work is completed correctly and to a high standard.
Utilize your broad understanding of how things work to methodically work through problems and develop solutions that improve the performance of refrigeration systems.
Be patient and a quiet achiever, reading instructions and following them to ensure that all work is completed accurately and safely.

Requirements:

Trade certificate in Refrigeration Engineering.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Experienced in using leak detectors to locate refrigerant leaks.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people.
Willingness to work flexible hours and be on call for emergencies.
